Just go out of Galveston. Better chance you don't get murdered.

I would rather be in NOLA than on a cruise ship.

During mask mandates and a spike in violent crime?

Why not go to a city that’s far safer and isn’t imposing draconian sanctions on its people? Like Chicago.

100% yes. IF you follow one rule: when the sun goes down, get to your hotel/house.

You may have to wear a mask and show a vaccination card, but as long as you don’t stay out after 2:00 am, all is good.

Stay off Canal/Bourbon after 10pm and you'll b fine. Covid and Latoya have hit Nola hard but it's still a good place to visit. This is a Louisiana-based forum and people love to bitch on the internet so Nola's problems are amplified on this site.

New Orleans has always been a shite hole, so it’s not any worse now than it used to be.

City leadership is trying their best to drive the city further into the ground though
