What is the cost of living like up in that area? ND, SD, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming

It's not that bad. Bozeman is kind of expensive now. My dad has a place about 15 miles north of there.

Nah. Jackson Hole is the only shitty part of Wyoming (other than the Rez towns). Thanks rich progs for ruining what would other wise be an great little town.

Lots of eastern eurotrash out there. They come over to work in the parks and stay illegally then somehow manage to get a job at McDonald's. All the workers are speaking Slovakian or khasacktanian. Or belarussian or some crap.

You are getting downvoted but this is correct (although I’m not sure I agree on Jackson anymore. It’s been infiltrated)

I’ve driven across the entire state, both east to west and south to north on two different occasions.

In a nutshell Wyoming is this (ignoring the areas you listed):

mega rich people who live on huge inaccessible ranches (a majority of whom are not natives).

And then dirt arse poor living in the largest trailer parks I’ve ever seen in the most run down towns I’ve ever seen.

All this ignoring the breathtaking scenery

but even that is mostly just in the NW corner

the majority of Wyoming is not what I would consider a scenic landscape

Unless you were Matthew Shepard. But that is one of the few big media events that Wyoming has seen.

Kinda agree with you there as well.

I’m struggling to think of the right geological terms, so I’ll say grungy desert that is so windy it will blow your arm off if you wave at someone

Most of Wyoming is kind of shitty. Hell, half of Colorado looks like Kansas. Idaho is definitely an underrated state as is Washington and Oregon.

Libs are working to sink their claws into those states as well. Nothing is safe from socialism.

I mean I broad brushed it so as not to write a novel. That was Wyoming in its stereotypical extremes

I’m not gonna change my opinion that it’s a shithole though

I think I agree with this post more than any others.

Idaho probably should be the winner for this thread

There are some sketchy arse places in Washington and Oregon
