What are you even talking about?
His estate was a beacon that attested to one's arrival in Old Metairie.

Big Lee you mean and it was sweet because he was in Old Metairie

Big Lee was NOT in Old Metairie. He was on the north side of I-10. That was Old Metairie before I-10 was built; not anymore.

I've decided that Neaderland, TX is worse.

The Big Lee living in Old Metairie troll is almost as good as the BMI chart troll.

Haven't been back in ages but when I moved away in 2005, much of Metairie looked it was getting overrun with the NOLA graffiti idiots. How's that been going?

It's a suburb of New Orleans, of course it's not amazing. But it's better than living in the city.....or kenner

Nope. The I10 bisecting it did nothing. It is the same style of home and was developed contemporaneously with what you mistakenly consider as the entirety of Old Metairie. Even autistic TulaneLSU confirmed this with historical documents and references.

You Old Metairians need to stick together and embrace your peer group. It really is the right thing...in his memory.

Y'all need to drive through some of the older burbs of Dade and Broward counties. The massive overexpansion in the 70s now has all the aesthetic charm of light industrial zones gone to seed mixed with rundown CBS homes.

Kenner sucks as a whole.

Kenner has a ton of potential but they elect idiots that are more concerned with whetting their beaks than addressing glaring issues. 0 commercial synergy, petty decision making, and graft, tons and tons of graft. Ben Zahn and those awful elevator boots he wears should be drawn and quartered.

Big Lee

I suppose a question better posed in it's own thread, so apologies, but what was it about Sheriff Lee that he was seemingly able to cultivate such legendary status?

I'm not particularly familiar with the gentleman or his "expoits", but was he like a Chinese Buford Pusser or something?
