What's more common is that a person's ability fend of normal colds/viruses after a Covid infection (even a mild one) is weakened for several months. Even how your body responds to things that trigger seasonal allergies are jacked up for a few months. There's been some recent studies on that.

Sounds like a completely normal occurring virus that definitely wasn't made in a lab.

It’s the long flu. They just liked it calling it Covid for a couple years.

Took me about 6 months to fully get over it, now I feel better than I have in years.

I didn’t think it was real until one of my friends (who is actually a really hyper and busy person) was diagnosed with it

I’m not sure if my friend got it from the actual sickness or the vaccine, though.

My wife got long covid. It affected her ear pressure and gave her extreme vertigo and temporary hearing loss.

After 2 months of therapy 3 times a week she is finally over it.

{Fatigue, vertigo, nausea!}
I have dealt with this for years. My second bout with "covid" has made it worse.
Wake up, feel something that makes happy.

Just had a friend admit to this (15 months without taste or smell) and he took nicotine chewables a couple times a day and melatonin before bed time. He could smell and taste within 12 hours of first nicotine.

Theory is that the nicotine extracts the remaining poison in your system. If you've ever had a wasp sting and put tobacco on it and it relieved pain instantly... same concept.

Yeah I had some vertigo that lingered for a few months after the second time I had covid. That was such a weird feeling when it would hit me

NO, it is not. There are 6 other covid viruses in circulation at this moment and none of them persist past a predictable cycle in the body. Neither does this one.

Damn it, too many idiots want this virus to become a new source of government welfare.

Long COVID is really another term for dysautonomia type symptoms. Most people that have dysautonomia/CFS/POTS get it from an initial viral infection that manifests with a variety of fatigue/orthostatic intolerance type symptoms. It's just another virus that is causing this horrible condition in people and is getting a ton of attention because of all things COVID. It sucks if you get it but there are some things that work and some that don't. I feel more sorry for the people that have dysautonomia without COVID that have been ignored for years.

Interesting. I had a very mild case of Omicron and only major symptom was loss of smell for 3 days. I did Neti pot rinses and I gave credit to those for getting my smelling ability back, but maybe it was because I smoked RYO.

#1

We had a friend who was a nurse at St. Dominic's in Jackson. She also caught covid early, before the vax came out. She kept getting worse and in a week, was in ICU at St. D. Then on a respirator. I remember the day they called her family in, allowed them to say good by and then unhooked her. I think she lasted 4 or 5 minutes. She was a poster child for good health. No weight conditions, no health concerns. Was a jogger with great BP and no respiration concerns. Lasted about 3 weeks after first diagnosis.

#2 the guy who cut my mom's yard was self employed witha family of four to support. He was in the hospital, unable to breath about a week after getting sick. Died maybe two months later. No insurance to cover a 2 month hospital before dieing stay. No insurance for his family. He was in good shape, young and a serious antivaxer.

#3 Old (elderly) mcouple friends in Marion, AL. Husband got (non covid) sick and was put in hospital in Birmingham early in the covid days. His wife (who would not leave his side) caught covid while he was in the hospital. He came home a few weeks later, after she died of it. She caught it and was dead maybe a week later. He satyed with her as much as they would let him and never caught it. They were both in their 70s and not vaccinated.

#4 My sister (an otherwise very healthy 60+ year old) in Texas has tested positive three times, has never missed a vaccine or booster. Her husband has never tested positive.

That's awesome.

I heard people should do nose flushes at the beginning of systems of covid.
