Absolutely not, most of our crime is isolated to a particular area of the city. I have zero concerns regarding crime in my neighborhood.

drinking problem is probably only because it's a bitch to keep it, comparably, crime free. Nola a baton Rouge seem to embrace and welcome crime.

It's a top 4 metro in LA

None of our markets would be considered large when compared to much of the US. New Orleans barely cracks the top 50 metros.

Yeah, way more people live in Youngsville and Broussard than Lafayette proper…oh wait

ETA: Lafayette is the third largest majority white city in the Deep South (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina).

Nola has a mayor with a drinking and anxiety pill problem. Doesn’t seem to be working

to answer your question, would need to know the policial leanings of the mayor, DA, city council, and judges...and whether the police force is fully staffed...

Huntsville, Charleston, and Lafayette?

Metairie would be number 3 if it was incorporated.

The large Baw population in Lafayette seems to help.
