Is Lafayette as riddled with violent crime like Baton Rouge and NOLA?

I don’t really hear much about Lafayette so I’m curious to hear from those who live there. Every city has crime issues but is it as bad there as in BR and NOLA?

NOLA is #1 in the nation for murder.

No other city will come close to it either.

Not even close. It just seems like it because Breauxsif/ Pirate Karen just make multiple threads on the OT every time any crime is reported in the metro area.

Baltimore and Detroit might be the only ones that can even come close to challenging New Orleans for the title.

BR is one of the top 10 most violent cities in the US per capita. It was probably top 5 last year.

Not quite. Different type of leadership in Lafayette. If they elect the same type of mayor, they will get the same results.

Won’t be long. Lafayette politicians are very woke. I can see it coming once the demographics catch up. It’ll be the entire south

All of Louisiana and most of the south has increased crime. It isn't just concentrated in the few metro areas.
