So you're not backing down from your statements? Cool.

Solid argument. Hard to refute.

Oh for sure, it happens to guys too
But the "out" for women is just so much more natural, and often, can involve ending a tortured relationship with the law entirely
Lawyers looking to move in house in their early 30s is almost as common as women getting the baby itch

Another example. I can't baby-step you through this.

Did your wife teach you to not go on record when someone is clarifying your position?

Based on my career, but more so her career, I'd take any bet of any amount of money that in 5 years when she's 32/33, she'll be even more adamant about her not wanting children.
I'll take that bet all day long...30 is where the flip switches for women...lawyers in law firms especially - that job blows and is particularly rough on the ladies.

Gee. Five whole years. That's like a lifetime for an aging adolescent. Let's see. At the five year point with Mrs Pimp, I was working in Japan, she was still in undergrad, and we hadn't figured it out either. And then...decades later...
What a youthful boy you are with all your little boy pronouncements to the men of the board on proper living-where to live, what to eat, where to vacation, why not to have kids, ad nauseam. Tell us more about the pitiable lives of the Bourgeoisie...just make sure to let us know when she either leaves you for a better man or you have a kid.Because one of those two things WILL happen. Guaranteed.

Deal. We'll bet sex LNCHBOX's wife. If you can last more than 3 minutes you'll have done her a great service.

there is nothing to refute
the majority of people that say they don't want kids in their 20s will eventually have kids
will it happen to you? who knows, just trying to prepare you

Is this fricking thing still going on? How are y'all not understanding this, good people have children and shitty people don't. It's pretty simple.

You're trying to prepare me for not knowing?

Again with the want to bang my wife.

no
I'm trying to prepare you for when you wife comes home and out of the blue hits you with "I want a baby" and all your preconceived notions about your life come crashing down

Asking people when or if they'll have children is completely inappropriate. It's not anyone's business what you and your fiancé decide. This question gets asked so frequently without thought. What if the couple can't have children? What if they just had a miscarriage? Just accept that people are morons, I guess and try to ignore their stupidity.

Just let the dude frick your wife.

You already said this:

So why would you prepare me for my wife wanting a child if you don't know if she'll ever want a child and she currently doesn't want a child? Why not also prepare me for her never wanting a child?

There is really no reason to get married if you're selfish and don't want kids. You get married to start a family. It's like buying a house with a 3 car garage when you have no intentions of buying any cars. You might as well rent.
I can understand people not wanting kids in their 20s. You shouldn't even get married before 25 to begin with and everyone should have a few years together before kids. But people who never want kids usually are just selfish people in my opinion. I miss certain aspects of not being a parent but being a parent is the best thing a human can experience hands down.
