Depends. Is it a trashy wedding?

Even for a Slizzard, yes.

Not if it is a destination wedding.

frick gifts. If they can't afford to set up their own household, they shouldn't be getting married.

Cardinals are trashy.

It's actually trashy to show up with a gift to a wedding, because you were too lazy and forgot to order something ahead of time and have it shipped to their house. It's not like the Bride and Groom are going to just throw all the gifts in their car (if they will even fit) and drive off with them after the reception. No, someone else has to take the gifts from the reception. Lots of times, the bride and groom don't live in the same location that they are married, so they'll have to load their car up with all the gifts and bring them back home at a later time.

Accepting gifts at your wedding is trashy

To provide some context, I'm friends with the guy but only sort of. I'm surprised I was invited TBH.

Get them a home depot gift card at least

Hell no. Buy that shite online and just mail it to them.

It's trashy not to get a gift. It's better if you have it sent before, vs bringing it to the wedding. Or bring a card with money.

Yep. When I got my gifts at my wedding, I took a wheelbarrow and threw them in a firepit and burnt em.

No. You have a year to get them a gift.

Most couples have registries and you have that shite shipped to the couple's address, which is already given as an option.
