The problem with 8am classes is waking up, seeing that you are already up at 7am, why wouldn't you just go?

Coming from someone who skipped class just because and paid for it (and regrets it daily), get your arse to class.
I used to have a 7:30 1.5 hour bio class that is way worse than whatever you're taking

Depends on the class. Example, a lot of my horticulture class/labs were scheduled early in the morning, 730-1030 labs once a week and 1.5 hr classes, twice a week. For the labs we mainly walked around campus looking at trees and shite..I'd rather do that at 730 AM than 130 PM when it is 105 degrees outside.

I had general rule that you don't go to any classes the first week back. It worked pretty well, but made for some awkward moments asking for the syllabus week 2.
