Buick should probably still have them

Remember how awesome it was when CDs came out and you could listen to whatever song you wanted without having to fast forward or rewind? It was like voodoo or some shite.

Pretty sure my last 3 trucks didn't have one. My wife's new SUV doesn't have one either

The only reason to include them still is because of blu-ray systems in vehicles

Yes I hate paying for extras that are stuck in packages that I never use.

If somebody came out with a new album, i wouldn't even know how to buy it, much less play it.

Damn, bruh. When was the last time you bought a car?

I still buy CD’s and listen to the radio. No playlists or podcasts for me
ETA: I still buy records and pay for cable too. Get off my lawn

My Dodge has a hard drive. I uploaded my music library via USB key. I still buy CDs when they’re affordable. Easier for me to add them to the drive through the CD/DVD player than converting them to MP3s and so on.

Lexus had cassette players until 2009 soooo

quote:great car, I had a 17 v10+ for 4 years. At least the CD player is in a good spot and not hogging the dash
Drove a 2022 Audi R8 yesterday and it had one. Wowed by the car, but the CD player seems antiquated, now.

I still buy and use CDs
There’s plenty of great music not available on streaming platforms, especially live concerts, etc.
And unless you’re downloading all your music, you’re listening to a compressed and low quality version.

Most automakers have stopped already

I bought a Silverado back in 2016 and about month of driving it I realized that it didn’t have a CD player. With Spotify, pandora, YouTube music, apppe music etc, you can play any song that you can think of without digging through a CD case

My work 2017 focus and 2021 Escape didn’t come with CD players.

I thought most new vehicles now didn’t include them? CarPlay is the go to for most people

Got a 21 atlas and they have one in the glovebox. I think it’s mostly for map updates though I’m sure they do that over the WiFi/link

The last 3 cars I've purchased new since 2016 have not had a CD player at all.. Come to think of it I haven't played a CD in probably 10 years

I’d rather have a CD player than not have one.
