This is the problem with Cancel Culture. Folks don't seem to be able to separate the context of using offensive and racist symbols for comedic effect vs other uses.
FWIW, the Blues Brothers is one of my Top 10 movies of all time (Dr Stangelove is #1, Forrest Gump is #2 and Pulp Fiction is #3).

First off, this would be the thing that got ME to riot.

Nah, they were raised by Curtis so they identified as black from childhood.
Oh wait, you can't do that? So it's OK to identify as a different gender but not race (which are both genetically determined)?
