What is the protocol when it comes to baby showers? If someone at work has multiple kids and people wants everyone to donate to give them a baby shower for every kid they spit out, is that the norm?

How does this stuff work?

Depends. Two 35 year old professionals I've found don't really have that kind of stuff. 25 year olds just starting their career do.

We did baths for ours.

And we had one bathing area for all.

We changed out the water between kids.

Hope this helps!

Different sex baby?

Over 5 years between kids? ALL of that baby shite becomes obsolete and "unsafe" every 5 years or so. Gotta start over or you are a monster.

Sometimes.

Sometimes not.

Because nobody holds on to baby shite. Soon as the kid grows out of it, you sell or give it away.

Unless you're a hoarder.

No, after you have one kid, having another shower is trashy.

But I thought the whole point of the shower was to get someone started with their life as a mother. People give things that can be reused every time they have a kid, etc.

If someone decides to have 6 kids, one year apart, do they expect people to get them shite every year?

Fewer and smaller gifts with every child has been my experience.

First kid usually gets a small party, gifts, card, giftcard.

Second child, everyone pitches in and get a gift, no actual party.

Third child, you might get a card with a gift card.
