Fog was way too heavy this a.m. earlier. Grass is still wet. Late afternoon does make it drier, unless we get much needed rain.

I have stuff to do on my Saturdays.
Typically I won’t wait till sun comes out, I’ll just set a few of these up around the perimeter of my yard at about 4:30-5:00 and get after it.

Many cities have noise ordinances for a reason and that reason is that it became fricking annoying to be woken up by some selfish a-hole that had to get the grass cut while others are trying to sleep. I don’t give a shite and those laws are rarely enforced but don’t pretend that it’s perfectly acceptable.

Then move. The day starts when the sun is up, if you want to sleep in like a teenager then deal with the noise.

No HOA, no city ordinance, I'll jump on the zero turn arse naked with a beer at 6:00 AM if I feel like it.

You have every right to mow when you want as long as it doesn’t fall within noise ordinance hours, assuming that applies to your residence.

You’d be a dick to start before 8 AM. And it won’t earn you any favors with your neighbors.

830 AM I wouldn’t have any issue with if I was your neighbor. 730 you’d be on my shite list.

Got to love those early June and July mornings when the Sun comes up at 6 am.

Suns up blades down.

Heck if you are in Northern Alaska you can mow at 2 am since sun doesn’t set.

1 lawn service company in neighborhood starts at 8 a.m. In Denham, heard fireworks in the distance last night, so anything goes. I usually start lawn work about 8:30 or 9 a.m.

I mow anywhere from 11am to 6pm. If you pass out from heat on a riding lawn mower and doing some weed eating you've got problems.

My grounds crew has permission to commence work at 9am. I buy them gatorades once a month.

Agree with this. I get it's hot, but you're walking and holding a weedeater. If you're push mowing, your yard is likely small enough you can be done quickly. Else you're on a riding mower. Just wear a hat, sunscreen, and take some water.

7am. At that time, it’s already been daylight for at least an hour.

Seriously, what grown man sleeps in after daylight????

7am on weekdays

8am on weekends

However today the dew was thick. Only an amateur would have mowed early. Or a fat person

Shift workers, law enforcement, hospital staff. Should I go on? The world doesn't stop turning at 5pm.

Most neighbors understand this time of the year you cut the grass when you can and don't cry like a little bitch.
