Did Destroya ever get that 150 mill she was asking for from the Appropriations Committee?

A vaccine will not undo the damage she has done to the city. Too many hotels & restaurants are now closed for good. But then the Democratic controlled City Council has been quiet as a mouse as well. The city has lost at least 8 major conventions, & once other cities get their hands on a convention, it's hard to pry them away.

Destroya accelerating what Mother Nature was going to do eventually anyway. The Mighty Mississippi and hurricanes will eventually get their way with that city.

Unemployment is $888 a month max here as it’s taxed. I can’t imagine living in New Orleans with the cost of living. A lot of people’s unemployment runs out December 26.

Sounds like you know this from personal experience, Walt

Well said Mr. Waydown. Latoya is an awful excuse for a person in any political position. Statues are down yet the city keeps drowning in it’s own easily preventable toxicity. The city can be a better place with the right leadership, but sadly you’re dealing with the ignorance of idiotic Orleans parish voters. Nola will always be Nola, but the destroya will always destroy. Very sad!

I mean, she absolutely sucks but you’d have to be on some next level drugs to say NOLA has ever been close to a decently ran city.

Oil and gas, shipping put more $$. Tourism employs more people but at a lower rate.

Convention business may not ever come back

The decline of New Orleans started before Latoya ever set foot in the city. She just accelerated the process.

The population of New Orleans is responsible for what the city has become. Latoya and all of the other failures are simply results of the people’s decision-making.

New Orleans has been Detroit with more tourism for many years.

She’s removing the tourism.
