If u want it made of clay. Had one built last summer by premeire pools right at $62,000. That included a water fall that cost $ 13,000

Do a YouTube search for Do it yourself pools. Some pretty ingenious people out there.

First hand experience once pool is built at least in my case , they won't come back out to clean filter or any other thing needed on pool. So invest time and see if any other company will come out to clean out your big filter inside your pump. Cost me $200 because guy didn't build pool I was told.

My parents did it well under $30,000 but it was 2005 but me and my dad did all form and wire for the concrete.

Yes. Vinyl liner pool can be under $30k, including extra concrete for the pool deck.

Buy a house with a pool and you get the pool for free.

Why would you ever pay for an in-ground pool when you can get an above ground?

Apparently, you've never bought a house...or even priced them.

I was not so sure at first but I'm feeling better about the chances of installing a pool.

Thanks for the serious responses.

Absolutely. Sort of a regular size vinyl wall with about a 24 to 30 inch concrete walk around for about 25 K. Mardi Gras pools. I think they are out of New Orleans.

Sure,as people stated earlier it would have to be a vinyl line with metal or wooden walls.Unless you really
know what your doing you'd be better off with a professional crew doing the install. You also would be well served to find out if you have water or rock where
the hole will be dug. You'll run into extra cost if they
Find either.

Also youll probably have to replace the liner in about 15 years.

I spent almost 40k renovating the pool at the house I bought 2 years ago. It was major renovations, and new equipment, but I don't think you get a gunite pool installed for 30k.
