Buy a house with a pool and you get the pool for free.

In TN it’ll actually save you a few bucks on the house in many cases.

I got a 12' X 28' rectangular fiberglass in ground pool installed last year for $32,800. This included the cement pool deck. Check out Central Pools.

Similar story... fiberglass similar size, jacuzzi in one end. $40k w 10 foot apron. With added features (waterfall gas fire features) and “hidden costs” (electrician to run line for pump, plumber), ran about $50K.

Friend just built a house. Added a pool for $25k. This was a very rural area in Florida panhandle with not many contractors around.

Apparently, you've never bought a house...or even priced them.

Pools do not increase values of homes. And they limit your buyers.

If you gotta worry about the price to build it you shouldn’t do it

Then you have the price to fill it in in 2138
