Is it possible the Coronavirus will die out?

I did a little research regarding the SARS virus and the H1N1 virus. They were the big outbreak of their time but eventually ran their course and the WHO declared them over. Is it possible the same will happen with Corona?

We have a vaccine for H1N1
SARS was much more deadly and made people sicker, which made it easier to contain quickly.

H1N1 did not die out. It is part of the flu vaccine. Due to the nature of that particular virus it became less deadly over time from a population standpoint and we have developed some herd immunity.

Is there really? I truly didn't know. So that means there is a specific test for H1N1? My boys both had it in 2009 -- on in July and one in August or at least I guess they did.
They were swabbed for the flu but I was never told type a or b when the postive came out and we always assumed I guess that it was swine given it wasn't "regular flu" season.

Yes.
COVID is shitty because it's only moderately deadly and moderately contagious.
There is a chance that if/when it mutates, it will become weaker and be a seasonal illness on par with the flu.
