Maybe convenience? She lives 2 hours from me. He's a dweeb anyway though... he's scared to fly so they don't go on trips to anywhere they can't drive to.
But her saying that to me was really strange... like go on and break up with the guy if she's already still thinking of me .

Not at all actually... it's one of the reasons I liked this girl is we both despise shite like this on social media and would send each other nauseating posts from other people on FB and make jokes on it.
