Is it just me or do cold beverages taste better out of metal cups?

Cold, and I'm talking real cold, just above icy, milk?
Amazing. Same thing with water.
Same thing with basically anything.
Just above freezing, in a metal cup...just better.
I remember there was a pewter mug with a gun barrel handle in my parents' house.
Best, milk, ever.
I just ordered some metal cups.
Wish I could find a pistol handled pewter mug

Metal gives a colder crisper feel compared to plastic

Milk from a metal cup sounds disgusting. Have you ever tried a glass?

Glass doesn't even touch metal, and I've had quality crystal.

Grandmother used to keep mugs in the freezer.
Nothing like breaking one out and pouring an ice cold root beer in one and having it with my sandwhich on a summer day as kid

These were the shite.
And, yes, milk out of them was divine.

Just like a coke tastes better in a can than plastic bottle

Beer out of glass bottle is far superior to a can beer. Can’t even drink those

ItMs subjective, but to me, Milk tastes best out of a mason jar that has been frosted in a freezer.

Coke tastes better in a glass bottles. Mexican Cokes almost frozen is the ultimate. Mexican Cokes are the pre 1985 Cokes. 1985 they made New Coke and when they switched back they changed from cane syrup to corn syrup.
I agree that metal glasses are best for milk.

Kind of like how Dr. Pepper and Coke are best over ice in a styrofoam cup.
I’m sure it’s some chemical reaction that will kill me, but who cares.

The inside of my tumblr isn’t metal. The outside may be but the inside is not.
And if anyone has ever drank water out of a can before, nah homie, you on the BS.
I would say insulated drinking vessels are my go to for ice cold deliciousness

A can Dr. Pepper in the morning is delicious.

I've got a couple of old aluminum tumblers that belonged to my Grandparents. I'm going to give this a shot.

Old school. Silver cups are antibacterial: https://myhealthopedia.com/drinking-water-in-a-silver-glass-benefits-side-effects-tips/,
