Literally, have you changed your lifestyle? I doubt it.

...and I don’t want to hear about your 2 hour commute. Live where you work. Problem solved.

Thankfully I am in a finacial situation where it has not impacted me and my family.

But there are millions of Americans less fortunate than most of us here.

Inflation is definitely to be embraced.

I’m more self conscious about how much and where I drive. Other than that not really. Who knows though if it worsens in the future.

Exactly. Republicans seem to be bitching for the sake of bitching. Nobody has really changed their decision making at this point.

I'm eating out once less than normal. Not buying beef, but more chicken and pork. And I'm a carnivore when it comes to beef.

How old are you? Are you married? Kids?

Not trolling. Serious question.

Yes it has but it’s probably worse for some others. We’re spending about $300 a month more than we were this time last year. That’s on groceries and gas and other things.

Absolutely. We eat way less steak and beef in general than we used to.

I mean it’s a fact that prices of goods in nearly every sector are increasing at a higher rate than at any point in nearly half a century. Everyone is losing, to brush it off is flat out stupid.

Also, FYI, fear of inflation is typically rooted in the idea that it gains momentum as it goes up as the markets become less efficient. There’s books on it.

I'm thinking twice now before I buy things. But I was already pretty frugal so I can maximize savings, so there's not much lifestyle change. Except now, obviously less is going into savings/investments.

My one vice is purchasing computer equipment/electronics, so the chip shortage has hit me harder in the lifestyle department.

It affects the entire economy of the country, so just because you make 125k and $4 gas doesn't bother you much doesn't mean it can't spiral the country into recession and get you laid off.
