I love tall women. I've dated a few... they all say they would rather not be tall. They don't like being different or the attention they get. I think it's awesome though.

My daughter is 5'9" and just turned 14. Her growth has slowed so I doubt she gets much taller. She doesn't like her height at her age. I don't think she looks awkward because she is not super skinny. I keep telling her she'll love her height when she is 22.

It's absolutely not a curse.
Even the "smaller dating pool" disadvantage isn't that big of a disadvantage. There are LOTS of men out there who would love to date taller women. But guess what?
The taller women won't date them.
Much of the "disadvantage" for taller women is self-generated.

My wife (no pics) is 6' tall
She complains that "full length" dresses are never long enough

I have dated one that was 5'10, but I typically like girls 5'7 and shorter. Most recent was 5'9 though, so the Amazonian chicks still have a chance.
My cousins are all taller than 5'10. The guys they date have always been 6'3 at a minimum

By my recollection, at 13 my oldest daughter was 5'9". At 33 she's 5'10". And if I'm wrong it's because she was already 5'10" at 13.
It was sometimes a challenge for her but she came to appreciate being tall and was never fixated on the relative height of the guys she dated.
Is her mom the tall one or her dad or both? If her mom quit growing early (like my 5'9" ex did) then your niece may as well.

5'7 and I can still do a split. And a standing back tuck, walkover, roundoff back handspring, etc, etc, etc.
