Vacation rentals can not technically rent to someone from Louisiana, NY, CT, or NJ. No one worthwhile is going to take a reservation and risk their business, if you really want to get around it just give them a Texas or other state address. There’s no reporting of where the guests are from, most companies just keep a record of where the guests come from for contractual reasons and to track the data. The state is not asking for it.

It doesnt really matter. Louisiana 600 people in the hospital with COVID. That's 600, not 6,000. Any state with restrictions over louisiana right now should be criticized.
It's their state and they make their own restrictions, but that doesn't mean it should go without ridicule.

We were in Orange Beach last week and the place was wide open and a blast! Send a message to Florida and go to Orange Beach or Gulf Shores. We may make this permanent as we loved OB, and forget Destin.

OB has its advantages (distance is a big one) but it's just not Destin imo.

We very much enjoyed our trip to OB over Memorial Day weekend.
I was planning to book a 7 night trip to Destin in July, but screw Florida.
At least for this summer. LOL

No. Hotels are not included in the executive order, but Sandestin has a company policy not to rent to LA residents (for now).

I hope not just booked Destin for the 4th. My boss just came back from Pensacola he said they had no issue.
