Is everyone’s neighbors just getting drunk every night now?

Seems like there’s a culdesac party now every night and neighbors just getting shite faced in one of their garages. How long is this sustainable until the marriage problems and divorces start?

Having to go to theofficegives you time away from each other. Being stuck together 24 hours a day is hell for both parties.
Why do you think retired 80 year old guys take a greeting job at walmart.

I did that and still do that. Waaaaaay before this corona thing. Marriage is great too. Always down for a reason to get together for drinks.

I'm the neighbor in this scenario, albeit I've been sipping on scotch and bourbon. I've got nothing else to do. Wife goes to sleep and I pour a drink and start reading something. Gone through 3 books in the last week and half.

It’s one thing to have a couple drinks alone...it’s another for every night to be a frat party in someone’s garage.
It doesn’t bother me. I actually think it’s funny, but wonder how long this can go on. Heard a wife and husband yelling at each other from their backyard at 2:00am last night. One must’ve had too much to drink at the garage bar of choice

According to an alcohol distributor here in Birmingham, this has been their best two-week stretch in their 80 year history.
Speaking personally, I’ve drank more in the last two weeks than in the last several months. Pretty much a drink or three every night.

Man I freaking love Birmingham. Randomly went there for Thanksgiving break and it’s such a great place.
