I'm almost certain, in 20-30 years, drinking soda and feeding them to our kids will be viewed similarly to the way we view smoking today.

Because it’s iron clad biochemistry.
Consuming aspartame is literally the same as consuming formaldehyde, albeit in small amounts. Aldehydes in your system is very very bad.
You know the nerve and circulatory problems of people with diabetes? It’s because of their sugar peaks with poor sugar control. Glucose exists in the blood in a 1:100 ratio of aldehyde form.
And that small amount can still royally frick up your life.

You know why coke can clean a car battery right? It’s because it’s very acidic due to ingredients and the carbonation.
You could also use vinegar to clean it and we eat that all the time

Nothing wrong with it.

I would pay to see you consume 12 oz of vinegar.

I tried doing the apple cider vinegar shot every morning where you take two tablespoons of it first thing. frick that was brutal

aspartame is toxic for your gut while also causing certain gut bacteria to mutate in an unhealthy way.

In today's world sugar and cannibus, two plants that just grow, are evil and under attack and no one should digest either of them.
However, ingesting a shite load of man-made chemical sweeteners and preservatives and colorings as meals while taking factory produced amphetamines, xanex, and ambien all day and night are perfectly acceptable for people of all ages.
It's science.

Absolutely none of that is backed by legitimate science.

There's less conversion from aspartame to methanol in a can of diet soda than there are methanol present in fruit juices and beer.

I'd need to Give up fruits, fruit juices, and beer too then. Especially beer cause I'd drink 20 in a sitting, unlike one can of coke zero every few days.

what does this have to do with your body converting methanol to formaldehyde? I don't even...

those experiments are conducted with doses that could kill a horse, but they give them to rats. You can kill something with water if you give it enough
