No.

Any self-respecting armed robber probably would do exactly that, as they aren't known for playing fair.
You try your best not to find yourself in that situation by paying attention to your surroundings, and learning from those who've experienced the worst of society things you should know to look for. I am blessed to know a few people qualified to do that, and do so for a living. I trust them.

You speak as though you assume people who carry are looking for a confrontation- or the opportunity to become a "hero". Sorry man- that's not reality. You try like hell to do all the right things to avoid confrontation. That's just as important- if not more.

I hope nothing ever happens to you, but, if you were ever in a situation when you needed one immediately, you better hope a cop just happens to be driving by at that exact moment. Otherwise, you're stuck with whatever happens to you until you can call 911 and pray a cop can get to you within minutes.

I’d rather an ambalamps.

I think folks that carry have little man syndrome.

Probably were raised as city slickers, too.

I guarantee you that you pass by many people every day that are carrying, but you don't know it.

It definitely makes me feel more prepared.

Powerful? No, because I would never use it unless absolutely necessary.

Some of you just cannot grasp this shite. You're one of them.

Do your kids ever go anywhere without you? If so, do you only trust them to go with other parents who also carry? Do they ever go out of your sight without any other adults with them?

Odds are very slim I would ever need to pull my gun, but there is a chance. A insurance adjuster was killed inspecting a house in a questionable area in a robbery gone bad. I don’t want to be that guy. If I am robbed the POS life is probably worth more to me then it is to him. If my family is not involved he can have my money or truck I won’t shoot someone over money. If my life is preceded to be in danger all bets are off. You ask how will you know and I can’t answer that.
I know my unarmed friend was murdered and would like for him to have had a chance to defend himself.

Do you trust other parents to drive your kids around? They're much more likely to be killed in a car accident than a stray bullet.

You can sit here and play the "what if" game all day. You've been told the reason people carry and just refuse to accept it without bullshite nitpicking.

Just carrying in your vehicle is gonna do nothing for you.

You won’t need it when you are sitting in your drivers seat

You don't see the irony in this ? CC is literally "what if"

Unless you live in BFE, you absolutely do. They may not be legally carrying, but they're carrying.

It definitely is.

Why do you wear your seatbelt? It's unlikely you'll be in a fatal car accident.

Why do you lock your door or pay for an alarm? It's unlikely your house will be burglarized.

Why do you buy health insurance? It's unlikely you'll be diagnosed with a horrible illness this year.

All of life is a game of counteracting threats to your well-being. A CC is the same thing.

Now we're getting deep.

No small kids, sorry. That was never a problem, though.

So, you’re the exception, not the rule.

Do you ever go to restraurants? Do you go to the store? Gas station? There’s a good chance you are in close proximity to someone with a gun at these places.

No it's not.

It's a fricking government database to see just who is owning a sidearm.

The only concealed carry I honor is the Second Amendment, as should you. Actually, I open carry.

I'm NOT gonna ask and pay for a Constitutional Amendment.

You know a lot of thwarted home invasions that were stopped by throwing wooden spoons and shoes at would-be intruders?

Interdasting.

Guns, hold ups, burglary, poors asking for handouts...

All part of the capitalists system.

Usa has millions of prisoners.

The darn have nots will not go quietly.
Gated communities the norm.
Concealed carry and systemic poverty go hand and hand.
