Do you also wear a riot helmet and a bullet proof vest everywhere you go? What if the perpetrator gets a jump on you and pulls his gun out first, you better be prepared.

I don't understand why you have to take this to such an extreme. It's simply a form of protection that some people prefer. There's one poster here who knows first hand of what one person with bad intentions can carry out and it's something that stays with you for the rest of your life

You know a lot of thwarted home invasions that were stopped by throwing wooden spoons and shoes at would-be intruders?

Interdasting.

I just make enough money to not live in shitty neighborhoods. Lot easier than owning a gun and pretending like I'm under seige.

So, you’re the exception, not the rule.

I admitted as much when I stated this earlier in the thread:

I know, right? I wish we were like the USSR. No poverty to be seen.

I guess you missed where I work from home and there are many days where I don't leave my house.

I'm pretty sure my friend has one of those. He's one of the only people that I trust with a gun.

It seems like you insinuated that carrying is like a big process or takes a lot of time. I own a gun and don't carry but certainly get why people do, and it's really simple. It's like putting your wallet in your pocket, really not different.

Well..... that's your opinion. Thankfully, your opinion isn't in the Bill of Rights.

My decision to carry a gun has no bearing on you or your rights at all. Why should you care what someone else decides to stick in their pocket?

is a duty.

If you're a grown man with a family, you have a duty to protect them at all times.

So you don't have a job and are with your kids at school all day?

I know I’ll regret even acknowledging this idiocy... but this is idiotic.

I haven't made any predictions. Once again your emotions have gotten the best of you.
