A cop pulls over an old lady for speeding on a Texas highway. He asks for her driver’s license and registration. When she opens her wallet, he notices a conceal-carry permit.
He asks, “Ma’am, do you have a weapon in your possession at this time?”

This plays exactly into what I’m saying. People are “scared” so they carry guns to no longer be “scared”. It’s stupid, then they make fun of me for not being scared in the first place

I’m not scared of that, and it’s not just that situation. I think people are generally stupid and hot heads. I don’t trust them, not just in a shoot out with a “bad guy” but in general.

Actually, I only know a few people with CCLs and they are very responsible. I’ve stated throughout this thread that I’m not anti-CCL, but I also don’t think the world would be better (or safer) if everyone carried, and I don’t think that carrying is necessary for the majority of people.
You gun nuts think that anyone who is not 100% gun 100% of the time is somehow trying to infringe upon your rights. I’m not trying to take your gun baw, I’m just saying that it’s definitely not for everyone (and I don’t think it’s for most people).

I've stated explicitly in this thread that carrying is a personal choice and you choose what you want to do and I don't care either way. I also said that I don't carry very often. The fact that you're shitting on people for feeling better when they carry all the time because "they're scared" is the issue. I don't think you're dumb or irresponsible for not carrying or owning a gun. I do, however, think you're a dumbass for painting people who carry often as some sort of idiots who are scared of their own shadows. You obviously don't exist in that realm so you clearly have no clue what you're talking about.

I didn’t say they were idiots, I did say a lot of them are “scared” for no reason. I also said I wouldn’t blame anyone who carried in New Orleans or some other crime ridden area.
