Alright, I'm listening. What's your idea of a good coffee brand and a good non-quite-so-microbrewery?

Sounds like your shitty organic Peruvian coffee is causing your butt to hurt.

He should try Kenyan Coffee. Much better.

Kenyan and Kona blends are and Itallian Espresso are the blends I like the best. Sumatran tastes like dirt .

Community is the mass market (in NOLA) that I like the most, find most satisfying. French Market is better than Community IMHO, but is not as widely distributed.

Sweetwater is probably a good example.

For coffee, lots are better than CC. Anything available pretty freshly roasted is an improvement. I don't hate CC, it's just not worth the local praise it garners here. Obviously widely liked coffee brands like Intelligencia or Counter Culture are better. But on a more average level, your house roasts from Fresh Market and Whole Foods are a big improvement without getting into 15/bag territory.

Cheapest route to really good coffee is whole bean fresh roasted locally. I'm guessing yall get better CC than we do, but I'm guessing it's still pretty old.

I don't drink coffee. It's trashy and makes your breath stink and stains your teeth.

Wait a minute. You start a thread proclaiming community to be nasty and the Bud Light of the coffee world, but you don't drink coffee?

This is definitely a troll thread.

I don't need you to tell me how fricking good my coffee is, okay? I'm the one who buys it. I know how good it is. When Bonnie goes shopping she buys shite. I buy the gourmet expensive stuff because when I drink it I want to taste it. But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the coffee in my kitchen

I drink my coffee with cream and sugar. I assume I will be banished from this discussion as though I was a leper. But I just needed to be honest.

It's the most disgusting coffee out there. It tastes like it is strained through a sock.

You should learn more about coffee before making statements like this. Community uses extremely high quality Arabica beans and has some of the best roasters in the world working for them. They win awards at the SCAA almost every year beating out the big boys consistently.

No doubt. But some states don't sell it, in my experience. Mostly northern states.

Why is it cool to announce that you hate Starbucks? Sounds like the people who tried to act different by announcing they didn't give a shite when Robin Williams died.

I like Starbucks and there is a reason why they are as popular as they are. There are also few coffees I don't like. Folgers is the worst coffee I have ever tasted.
