Is Buying A Vehicle From CarMax Trashy?

Need to know....it would have the CarMax decal on it...the kind of dealer decal that are impossible to remove........i/d/k: CarMax seems kind of low rent and trashy.... not where a baller would buy a vehicle no matter the price.

CarMax doesn't haggle because they bake a big markup into their "no-haggle" sticker price

They don't inspect the vehicles they get. So if you want to drive it off the lot be ready to bring it in the shop soon.

You can tell them to take it off. Do you really think they're going to let a decal stop them from selling a car? Last car I bought had the dealer's lame arse logo on the back of the car. They just took it off per my request when they were detailing for delivery.

Every vehicle I've ever purchased... the first thing I did was remove the dealer decals.... it's not impossible....

Heat it with a blow dryer and stick a piece of packing tape over it. Peels right off.

I hope you're ready to be in the auto shop weekly.
My truck broke down on me 3 times in 2 weeks. Took it to the dealer each time. Each time different answer. My wife and I had been thinking about getting a new car. CarMax was literally across the street from the dealer. The 3rd time, I drove across the street and sold my truck. I told them up front every detail from the past 2 weeks, and they still offered me more than Kelly Blue Book

Go to any decent parts house and they actually make plastic razor blades. They work great, no marring of paint.
