The real problem is that 80% of their inventory is from Rental car companies. No thanks to buying a used fleet vehicle.

Bought my fifth car from Carmax. Truck for me, two vehicles each for wife and daughter (flood claimed their first ones.) No mechanical issues with any of them.
Markup - probably, but I got a lightly used Ram 2011 pickup for $21,000 with 11k miles on it.
The best thing about Carmax is that you can look at different makes and models all in one spot. Try them on if you want.
Never found anyone to be rude or pushy.
As for the decal, I never paid it any mind. Its still there, and nobody seems to care. Least of all me.
