I rarely eat breakfast. Generally only on a weekend morning that will be busy or something. I like breakfast food though, for lunch or dinner. Just not usually hungry in the morning.

Tabasco? That’s a damn shame as it has terrible flavor and isn’t even a good pepper sauce. I may or may not hate it because I’ve eaten more MRE’s than 98 % of the world and had to put that trash on em. Ohh and I don’t eat breakfast or lunch.

I don’t usually eat until noon or so.
I really like breakfast foods, but I don’t wake up hungry.

Technically, yes. But my break-fast usually comes between noon and 4pm depending on my schedule.

It necessarily must be.
Without it, you'd never eat.

What is your go-to breakfast meal?
Usually two scrambled eggs cooked in Kerrygold butter, a piece of sourdough toast from our local bakery with Kerrygold butter and often a drizzle of honey from the farmer's market, and whatever fruit we have on hand. Sometimes I skip the toast.

Breakfast sandwich. So, bacin/sausage, egg, cheese, and either biscuit or english muffin.
I do miss grits, but the wife isn't big on them.

Now that I'm retired, yes. Nothing like crawling out of bed, no alarm, head to the kitchen and Crack some eggs along with a glass of OJ

No this is a myth. You’d do better by skipping and eating those bacon and eggs for lunch or later.

I never eat breakfast. Fast for 18 hours a day. Only eat between 1pm-7pm. Never been more healthy

Thanks for asking, I love breakfast but limit myself to oatmeal everyday except Saturday which I cheat a little and treat myself

No. It all makes sense if you read the book “Sapiens” which talks about the history of humans. Great read.
“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” is purely an American saying. That’s because since our days as a colony we were agricultural in nature. Think about, if you wake up at 5am to go out and do manual labor all day on the farm or ranch, you damn sure better eat breakfast or else you’ll pass out by 9am.
The book talks about how for hundreds of thousands of years before this, we were hunter gatherers. Our bodies were conditioned to go without in the morning. When we made our catch, it could have been at 10-11am, noon or even as late as 2-3pm. Humans feasted when they made their catch (insinuating lunch was the biggest meal of the deal). Then some leftovers from lunch, about 1/3 to 1/2 of what you ate at lunch, for dinner.
Early humans that needed to be tied over until they caught their lunch ate fruit or nuts.
I don’t do intermittent fasting but I do not eat breakfast and to be honest I don’t miss it either. I eat light fruit or mixed nuts around 11am so I’m not hangry at lunch. I eat a sensible lunch. I eat a half meal at dinner. It works for me and I do believe there’s some history to it.

Man is strange, he let's a clock tell him when to eat. It's really simple. Hungry? Eat.
