It’s just vanity and attention seeking. If you have the extra time and energy to spend 2 hours in the gym then by all means but most people are busy making a living and don’t have the discipline to spend time on their bodies after a 10 hour day. It depends on what you do for a living as well

Years ago I was a sales rep for a medical-device company (Stryker) whose sales force consisted primarily of former college (and some pro) athletes and former military. They were known in the medical industry for that rep profile.

Most were driven and goal-oriented and if you weren't you didn't last long. Almost all were very fit and active, even the female reps, and that included much of the home office staff. I wouldn't consider many what I would call "meatheads", most were educated high-achievers who stayed fit.

All of those words mask the only one that matters, discipline. The rest is bullshite excuses.

People get real offended when I walk around with my dick in 'swole' mode. They don't appreciate my gains and hardwork i just did in the bathroom.

If my 18 year old son can drag himself out of bed every day to work out 2 hours before school, attend high school then college classes, go to work, get all his schoolwork done then work out with my husband every night for 1.5 hours every day and be in bed by 10:30, there are no excuses. He also has a 3.95 unweighted gpa and 1400 on his SATs and was early admitted to attend TCU next fall.

His arms are only 19” though so I guess he’s a failure.

Yes discipline is the main factor but being ‘’swole’’ is taking your weight lifting too far. It’s the opposite of sitting down and playing video games. Everything in moderation makes a healthy person. Getting’’swole’’ obviously is putting too much time into training and LOOKING AT YOUR SELF IN THE MIRRIOR

that sucks you have to work 10 hours a day to make an awesome living. working 60 hours a week is not the flex you think it is

Yeah I have time. I’m just lazy and undisciplined and would rather spend a couple hours in the bar than a couple hours in the gym. I’ve made peace with unhealthy lifestyle.

So you're actually undiagnosed, clinically depressed. Maybe you should see someone about this, it's not normal.

Getting’’swole’’

Define this. I am married, have two kids who play high school sports, own and run a multi-million dollar business, manage ten employees, go on multiple vacations a year, spend time with family, and yet I still have an hour a day to take care of myself.

If you look in the mirror and are okay being out of shape with a belly hanging over your pants, that’s fine. There’s a reason that’s accepted on this board and being “swole” isn’t, and it has nothing to do with vanity.

This is a good one though, and alot of swolt (this is really the word we should be using) guys in this thread are more than a little sore at the OP.

But on the subject of swolt. I knew a swolt guy once. Swolt as shite as a matter of fact. He was so swolt that he walked funny because his swolt thighs would chafe.

His name was Gino. Good guy and got a fair amount of pussy. Chicks dig swolt.

I'm in med device rep here, being 'swole' or whatever gay term you want to use has its benefits. Most people can't find a balance in life whether it's getting in shape, or once they are it takes over their life. I actually hate talking about working out in casual conversations. By the way, why is OP starts threads by is this & that trashy? Are you class or body conscious? Feelings of inadequacy? You might want to go to therapy.

Maybe, but look at the bright side. If I was in good shape I would be absolutely irresistible to women. So to make it fair for the rest of you boring arse nerds I put on some extra ell bees so I don’t steal all the pussy. You’re welcome.
