I'm actually a hair over 5'11". I usually put 5'11" on things as I don't want to get caught pretending I'm 6'. It does suck to not be able to say I'm 6' though

I know a few OT8/IRL10s (sorry, no pics) who are married or engaged to guys under 5'9". Height isn't a problem for most guys.

5'10 here. I can understand a taller woman (5'8-5'9) wanting to date someone that's 6'2+. There's a sense of security there. If that's their preference, so be it. Nobody should get their panties in a wad over a girl turning them down because of their height. Just be a man, move on and find someone who is interested.
I don't date women who are taller than me because it's weird as hell. I just don't find taller women attractive. That doesn't make me an a-hole. It's just a preference. Everyone has them.
