This is the PGA’s fault. Sacrificial lamb for the PGA/LIV merger.

Supposedly he was a badass IRL and the only wrestler Hogan was afraid of.

It's been many years since I have paid attention to wrestling. But didn't he throw crap in people's face to knock them out or slow them down? What was his secret weapon?

now there's a name I haven't heard in a while, there were daily protests deriding the Shah of Iran while I was at LSU, I was in engineering and there were a shite ton of Iranians in engineering at LSU

He's the 2nd ex-wrestler to pass in as many weeks along w/Superstar Billy Graham, wonder who'll be the 3rd?

Yeah he was,

He fled to America because he felt the shah had murdered or sent other people to murder another wrestler (he was a top amateur wrestler in Iran and more popular than the shah)

The story is that the wrestler killed himself, but Khosrow didn’t believe that. He thought the shah would murder him

I met him 20 years ago when we were bouncers at a club in NYC. Was a super nice guy in the brief time that I talked to him.

He did a great job as portraying a villain, one of the most memorable villains in wrestling. I can’t hardly think of another one honestly

I saw Iron Shiek wrestle at Ft Sill 25 years ago. He was old then but still a showman. RIP
