They are gasoline fueled, propeller driven, with internal combustion engines which has earned them the nickname "the flying moped" because of the high-pitch whine their engines generate.

You can take a couple of points off the lack of militia involvement. Either a) they know Israel could wipe them out without starting a legit war, and would if they partake. This is the most likely scenario. Or b) maybe they aren’t as “Iranian backed” as we are led to believe.
