Galaxy Ultra 24.
Android, since I'm in business and need a business-friendly device.
IYKYK.

Funny that you say this and yet the phone of choice for every ghetto hood rat is Android. I love how the poors have to make themselves feel better by thinking that their phone choice makes them smarter.

Never owned an iPhone. Android since 2009. I had the Galaxy 3, HTC Hero, Motorola Pure, Honor 8, Nexus, Pixel 1 thru 3A XL, and now mostly Galaxy devices only b/c I don't like the processor in the new Pixel
The reason we never did iPhone is b/c my wife and I both had ipods back in the day. I bought lots of music. So when she was going to buy a song I already had, I told her I'd give her a copy of mine. Not possible. She'd have to buy the song too. We'll that is some bullshite imo. So we switched to Microsoft Zunes, which were the superior device, but didn't take off. Never been a real fan of Apple since. And they're shite with changing charging cords on every new phone is bullshite too

iPhone
Work necessity
I’d still have iPhone even if it weren’t

I honestly thought that like 80% of humans had iPhones but based on this thread it seems like more than half of the nerds err err I mean folks on this site have Android phones.

Android, don't own anything Apple.

Apple device integration (Mac, phone, pods, etc) is superior to Android.
Beyond that, Android > *.
But if you've been Apple for any length of time, you're so entrenched, it would be extremely difficult to change platforms.

quote:This, not necessarily. Android/Google integration is at minimum equal to Apple, and depending on use case and scope of work, the Google integration is better than Apple. Do Apple users realize that Samsung (and several other brands) have tablets, watches, pods, etc and that they function exactly the same? It's like they think that stuff doesn't exist outside of Apple.

Android before and after an iPhone 4.
With a couple of ipads here and there.
Mostly a culture thing. Same reason I don't like Harley Davidson, Yeti, etc.
In that time I've had androids from Motorolla, Samsung, HTC, Nokia, Google, etc. See? Choice. It's a good thing.
Most people just want the brand. That's why they spend 600 bucks on overp priced Airpod Max cans.

They really aren't gimmicky? I've always figured they are.
Once you get used to its size it's hard to go back to a standard phone. Great for watching YouTube, maps/directions, etc. I loved my iPad mini, but I couldn't take/make calls. The speakers on the later models are excellent as well.

Samsun S21 ultra. I don't use the 9,000 x 16000 pixel pictures much due to the size of the images, but it's nice to know it is there. Battery lasts me about 3 days unless my wife get on it.
