Well now I'm wondering about the graphics themselves- seems like the data is correct, but the true size is not. Not sure what they did, but they imply Cuba is the roughly same length as North Carolina but it's way longer than that.
Could just be visually misleading when both are separated like that

The scale is off in the video.

Turns out the makers of this video are apparently including water limits as well,
Correct. Michigan has MUCH less land area than what was stated.

Weird how LA, MS, Bama and Arky are all in a row as far as size.

Enjoyed it. Some time ago, I watched a video about traveling where a Brit guy laughingly said many in the UK think they can drive across the US in two days.

FLorida is a LIE.
They count the sand underneath the Ocean going out miles off the coast of "state waters" as "land area". By actual land area, Georgia is bigger than Florida.
Florida can't fricking stand Georgia being the largest state east of the MS River so they pad their fricking stats with millions of acres of underwater sand in the ocean.

People in Israel, Japan, Singapore, etc., must be piled on top of each other.

I had no idea that Italy and Spain were that large and in charge. I just always figured they were about the same size as the peckership northern European countries.

We were taught every year in school that Georgia was the largest state east of the Mississippi River, so either we were being lied to or we are being lied to now.

I just explained the scam to you, and you are still questioning who is lying?

It should have compared Texas to France

If you ask people what the 4th biggest state is, I bet not many people would say Montana.
Only because, I’d have said it was 3rd

The listing is by "total area" not just "land area" .
All lakes would make sense to be included in "total area" , but what about oceans and gulfs?
