Not my living room, but spent Thanksgiving and had dinner at Jan Witkowski’s house. By far the most interesting. I was dating his daughter at the time.
Director of the Banbury center at Cold Springs Harbor Laboratory. He works directly under, and co-published books, with DNA double helix co-discover James Watson. Yes, THAT James Watson, who is most notable for putting up his Nobel prize for auction, second only to his controversial thoughts on the correlation between race and intelligence.
He even took me for a ride in his 1974 Jensen interceptor into town. Man, the stories he told along the way.

The Hanson brothers. My cousin was their road manager and when they were here on tour they wanted someone to boil them seafood. One of them was cool but the other two were pretty strange.
