I might add that it has to be a temp La. tag. Can’t get one of you buy your vehicle out of state until you get the La. plate.

Yeah that makes sense due to our stupid emissions tests which are caused by plants to begin with.
The "emissions test" which you are paying $3.00 extra for because you live in BR consists of pulling a vacuum on your gas cap to verify it seals when screwed on the gas fill tube. Something that any car made in the last few decades will tell you by giving a "engine" light. The test accomplishes nothing, and is just another tax.

Nope, not the case either at least in my experience. Routinely have bought cars in Texas - most have had the Texas inspection sticker already on, and I've rolled with it for the two years it allows and never run into a problem, but last one got shipped up heer with no sticker. Went to a service station a couple of days later with my temporary insurance card for the car and rolled out with a brand new two-year sticker. Easy Peasy. Temp tag on the rig was a Texas temp tag.
