For the past couple of years my Louisiana inspection sticker/ brake tag begins to curl up and eventually falls off the windshield shortly after it was applied. I know it gets real hot inside the vehicle but this only started a few years ago and when I inquired about it I was told that the state purchased a bad batch from the vendor. Noticed lots of vehicles with the same problem over the past few days.

JBE ordered that we have these new ones. It’s all his fault.

Yea I'm wondering how big that bad batch was. I got two on my old truck that did it...and the one they put on my new truck at the dealer is curling already and I've had it just a little over 2 months.

every few years they change vendors trying to save 2 fricking cents or give brother inlaw a government contract windfall so we end up with stickers that peel off. about 10 years ago they had some that were plastic and shrank down to like 2" x 2" size and crinkled to the point of not being able to even see the number stickers

They’re putting fentanyl in cocaine now and this is what you’re worried about?

I don't use cocaine...but I do use brake tags! So just STFU!

My 2016 one is doing the same thing. I was thinking about replacing it, but it hasn't fallen off yet

They are supposed to replace for free. If it's still good.

The other arse holes driving illegaly should just get a new one.

What is the best way to remove these types of stickers once they are fried on to your windshield?
