I am friends with a guy who worked out of the corporate office in Bentonville. He was responsible for all signage designs that are in every store. He loved working there and lived up in Belle Vista and that area is absolutely amazing.

Hmmm. I wonder if demographics have any correlation?
you would be right. Benton County is less than 2% black

What is the Hispanic percent? Walmart and Sam's Club has a ton of them working at their stores. I wonder how many are illegal? Tyson is/was mainly Hispanic.

My parents live on beaver lake, outside rogers. That area is so nice. A complete 180 from Baton Rouge from where they escaped four years ago.

And with an average size of 16 to 20 pound striper, not a bad place to fish.

Rogers and Springdale are like 30%-40% Hispanic with some areas almost exclusively Hispanic. A lot work at the Tyson plants in the area.

Fayetteville and Bentonville are mostly white, with a lot of Indians that work at Walmart corporate.

The University of Arkansas is waiving tuition to residents of border states and kicking our asses in getting talent to that area.

Have white liberals fleeing from blue states they voted for taken over there yet?

NW Arkansas and Huntsville, AL remind me of each other. Good economies.

Been that way since I left Fayetteville in the 90's. It's unrecognizable to me now.

19% in Benton and Washington Counties. Despite the woman-like hysterics elsewhere in the thread, it is still very much a limited minority community overall.

Ask frisco how that’s going. Texans seem to prefer illegals at this point

Bentonville is an extreme outlier. It’s basically a planned community. There’s plenty of other resort towns in the Ozarks that are low-profile and not super pricey like Bentonville.

And if someone was wealthy enough to afford Bentonville, I can think of at least 5-10 resort destinations in Montana that are way nicer and have a lot more to offer in terms of amenities.

I've lived here since 2003. We bought a new house with a cow pasture behind us, it's now a golf course, thank God
As far as demographics, there are areas that are 99%, non-english. Areas of Rogers and Springdale. We have been in restaurants and strip malls that are Spanish only. We just walk out
Our daughter, has a friend, hispanic, that says certain areas are too white!
I told her to tell her friend that if it wasn't for us 'too white people", she would be living in a shithole country
Some of the neighborhood markets play spanish music over the intercom. We succomb to them, instead of forcing them to speak English. It's patronizing and disheartening
Just like anywhere, you have to take the good with the bad
We plan on movimg back to West Carrol Parish in a few years

I live in Pea Ridge.

The population signs say over 6,000 but according to the fire station it's at 14,000.
