I moved here for a job and got laid off. Liked it so much I got a remote job, bought a place to live, and plan on staying here a long time. Quite an upgrade from Memphis.

And those snobby fricks wonder why jobs get outsourced. more worried about stress breaks from their desk job and a bike ride during business hours than actually accomplishing anything.

Better hope that the information stays on the DL, otherwise prepare thyself for an invasion of Yankees and Californians.

It is already to late especially in Bella Vista, AR. I had eight homes built around me in the last three years and most of them are Yankees and Californians. There were no kids and now there are 10 of them running around.

Are any of these people actually from Arkansas? They sound like they’re from Utah or someplace. Certainly not like the Arkies I remember in rural Johnson County in the 1970’s and 80’s. Like a different language.

We go to the Jasper area 4 -5 times a year for a week at a time. We've befriended people and love the area. We will be retiring in the area.

My parents live on beaver lake, outside rogers. That area is so fricking nice. A complete 180 from Baton Rouge from where they escaped four years ago.

The best business climate I have ever seen, anywhere. If you are young and ambitious and you want to make a living in a beautiful place where everything works and everyone is civil and respectful you should go there immediately

My son lives there. Really nice area, but the traffic is getting crazy. And lots of construction going on.

Hmmm. I wonder if demographics have any correlation?

If it gets too bad I am moving farther north not back south. The weather is great. 4 distinct seasons.
