Still can't believe you sold a gift

Put the update in the fooking OP instead of 'Go to Page 11.'

Can't believe it either. Quite a slap to the face of FIL. Should have kept and passed down to a son or son in law. 1750.00 is beans.

Do you realize how much that $1750 probably cost you?

He didn't sell it.. this whole thread was a bullshite troll job..

Sounds like OP just failed the "who gets in the will" test. Your wife's siblings thank you for being a cheap idiot!

I wouldn't of sold it. Heirlooms should stay in the family.

I'd be very upset with my son if he sold the Rolex I will be giving him. You better have really needed that money, that's the only way I would be okay with that.

ah BS, who wants an old fart watch unless the recipient wants to keep it for sentimental reasons? I've got a decent watch that will certainly outlast me, maybe my kids, could give two shits what happens to it after I croak

If he really needed the money then that POS would not be marrying my daughter while I was still alive.
OP sucks and is a POS

You haven't raised kids yet. I you did you would have not made the statement above.
No way in hell would I have sold it though.

Good on ya, I can't believe someone would pay $1750 for that.

Did his father in law hide it up his arse for five years in a vietnamese POW camp only to die of dysentery and have his comrade deliver it to him? Is the OP a professional boxer who plotted to throw his last fight only to double cross the gangster who fronted him the money. Did the OPs old lady forget to pack the watch when they were about to skip town forcing him to go back to his old apartment where the goons were waiting. Did he kill one of the goons only to be spotted by the boss trying to make a getaway. Did he run over the boss and get shot at only to find refuge in a redneck pawn shop. Did the boss get buttfricked by a redneck cop causing the OP to find a weapon to stop said buttfricking. Did the boss shoot the cops dick off for breakng one off in him.........this is a more believable story than the OPs story.
