Lol you know that actually it’s only like a quarter to a third of the males in the world are circumcised right? I wouldn’t say it’s “new” age. It might be for the US where it’s like 60% but even then it’s not like an overwhelming majority.
Some of y’all are really insecure if cosmetics is all you’re worried about.

My husband was not adamant about much when it came to decisions about our son during my pregnancy and his infancy...except this. He said he WOULD be cut. I said no problem. Never saw an anteater. Eek.

I'm not sure how a ton of people have come to belief that getting circumcised is on the same level as female genital mutilation, but it appears to be a widespread opinion in Europe.

"If He's Uncircumcised. If your baby wasn't circumcised, meaning you chose not to remove the skin at the head of his penis, you don't have to do any special cleaning. My wife and I were really torn on this issue, we heard all the good news and bad news with circumcision. We watched Penn & Teller bullshite on the subject and it was enlightening.
Good:
cleaner
More normal
Bad:
reduces sexual pleasure
painful as hell
Debatable:
STD's - found so many conflicting reports decided not to factor it in to our decision
in the end we decided that if he was related to his old man then he is going to need all the help he could get to give us grand kids so snip snip.
