Florida only has an ocean on one side of the state

Anywhere along the gulf coast, I-10 corridor is pretty much the same. Trying to pick among them is fricking stupid.

Yeah perhaps inland FLA but def not anywhere within 30 miles of the Atlantic/Gulf Coast Florida. I lived in the panhandle for years and Baton Rouge is 1000x more humid than that.

So you're saying that the humidity is lower 100 miles inland than it is right on the water?

Take anywhere in the SE south of the mountains or east of the Piedmont and it is wherever you are now.

On the news the other night they listed Houston, Montgomery, and New Orleans as the cities that "feel the worst" with humidity.

Numbers be damned - I've lived in South Louisiana all my life.

I went to Tampa in August once for business and spent two days looking at commercial real estate (so outside, walking around all day and whatnot), and I damn near died. I would sweat through my shirt in about 45 seconds.

It was much nicer at night than Louisiana was, though.
