Inland Louisiana and Florida easily. The sea breeze is nice on the coasts though

It is Florida of course. They are a peninsula between two large bodies of water.

On average it's Louisiana, then Florida, then Mississippi. At least in the summer. In the winter I think Florida wins handily.

So the Gulf of Mexico isn't an ocean?

Is that a serious question?

Um, those areas of high humidity are currently being affected by a tropical system. Not a very accurate representation of average humidity.

Oh and for the people in the south feeling sorry for themselves because of the air climate, this weather is like winter for those goat frickers in the middle east.

Yes it is. I have 150 hours+ of college credit and aced geography all the way from middle school to the university. Without exception, every class I ever took taught me the Gulf was part of the Atlantic Ocean. As is the Caribbean Sea. Look at a map or a globe and you'll see the Gulf borders Florida's west coast and the main expanse of the Atlantic borders the east. It's consistent throughout the entire state except the panhandle. There are five oceans....Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, & Southern. So you tell me dumbass, if the GOM isn't part of the Atlantic Ocean which ocean is it part of? And explain how Florida isn't bordered by an ocean on both sides? Otherwise STFU

You are correct. He seems to think that the Gulf of Mexico doesn't count as "ocean", but it is in fact a part of the Atlantic Ocean

The greatest humidity I experienced was in the Pensacola area in '09. Dew point was 86, air temp was 86 at 7AM. Got up to 95 later in the day, miserable.

Worst place I've ever been for heat was the Seychelles. Little island chain just south of the equator in the Indian Ocean. Daily temperatures with humidity were well over 130 degrees. Even the ocean felt as hot as a warm bath. Just miserable. But so beautiful that you really didn't mind.

For the longest time I thought New Orleans was the most humid. But then I went to southern Florida.

I was in Ponte Vedra Beach just south of Jacksonville on a golf trip last week and it was the most humidity I have ever experienced.

That's an interesting map. As Charlotte resident, I figured the mountains had to be helping a bit. It's humid here, but there is a noticeable difference between here and even Columbia SC, much less Charleston.

The most miserable summer I've ever experienced was in Washington DC

The strip from DC down through Eastern VA/Richmond is sneaky horrible. Very low-lying, swampy and no real ocean breeze.
