In the market for a new truck, opinions on wanted

I have 3 different options I'm considering:
New 2022 Ram 1500 Lonestar crew cab with V6 etorque engine -$40k
Used 2020 Nissan Frontier SV, 20k miles - $28k
Used 2021 Toyota Tacoma SR5, 20k miles - $38k
The new ram is a sweet ride. Maybe a little concerned about reliability since it's owned by FIAT, but I feel like all the new trucks are pretty good. Super smooth ride, spacious interior, room to grow, and decent gas mileage. It's just big and $40k is about as much as I'm willing to spend
Feel like the Nissan is a reliable used truck, just very dated and not much room to grow into. Not sure that matters as I'm a single guy. Midsize is much more maneuverable. Definitely the cheapest option.
The Tacoma has a known reliability factor, same midsize benefits apply here. Just can't get my head around $38k for a used midsize, other than it's a fanboy car with outstanding reliability.
Thoughts?
My only other thought is to get the Nissan drive it for a few years and wait this stupid used car market out.

Ridgeline (future classic)

The Tacoma will hold its value best. However for that price if you go a bit higher and get a 2022 the mileage is better.

Still need to drive a Ridgeline. They also seem pricey for what they are.

40k for a Ram lone star seems like a great price. I have had my first Ram for over a year. Previously I had Fords. This Ram is so much nicer and very well built. Not trashing Ford as I like them as well. Ram has passed up Ford

I'm driving a RAM around as a rental and it's very impressive, not something I was really considering before I hopped into my rental. Probably to early to tell on the RAM but any reliability issues?

Tacoma. I have a 2009 tacoma with 175,000 miles. I plan on driving another 125,000 miles before buying another tacoma.

Tesla. Gas is dead.

Ram.
I’d rather take the city bus than drive a Tacoma. Trucks have zero balls and tiny on the inside.

The Tacoma is tiny, front seat is fine, but if anyone needs to sit in the back they're fricked.

I just bought my wife a new, used, van. I had a Kia, and a padna’s wife has the Chrysler. I over paid for a Honda voluntarily because of reliability.
I’d rather pay up front for reliability instead of repairs later.

Yeah I just don't know if RAM is considered unreliable though.

What do you use the truck for?

Tacoma, all day long.

Concerning the RAM,
Ford, RAM, GM brands only.
Half tons on up.
RAM is the most reliable of the three.

Mostly daily commuting, but somewhat of a work truck. I will be an assistant superintendent for a commercial general contractor in construction so I'm sure it will get used in that capacity as well.

Don’t let the cheapskates that buy Asian fool you; it’s not 1980 anymore. American car companies make vehicles just as reliable, with better tech and options.
Get the Ram.
