Is your boss your FIL or the other woman’s husband? Or are you a mega church pastor?

All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.
But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ.
If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved.
Go and sin no more.
People make mistakes. You have made many. But just because you have made those mistakes does not mean you cannot turn over a new leaf and truly submit your life to the service of God.
God has used broken people throughout human history to show his grace and mercy.
So today, You can be forgiven by God for your sins, all you have to do is ask.
This will not make your situation go away as you will still have to pay for your sins here on earth with the people you have hurt. But you can atleast let go of your guild and shame and recognize that God in his infinite grace loves you and died for you.
I hope that you and your wife can find love still and I hope your wife and kids can practice the same type of forgiveness and unconditional love that Jesus has showed you. But if they cannot, rest assured that you can still be a better person despite your failures.

I think you might be onto something here. If this affair is going to cost him his job, then it’s likely either he’s a preacher or he works with/for the other woman or her husband.
