I sincerely appreciate your post and sentiment. I'd say prayers up, but I'm not a praying kinda guy really. You will learn what you needed to learn and live this life the way you have to. Seems like every word you typed proves a truly contrite disposition.

I hope your family finds everything it needs to endure. Good luck.

Why did you not make amends quietly.. If hurts another keep it to yourself and do better. That being said. Prayers for all of you and I hope you can heal.

Hard to give advice without knowing all of the facts.

We all make mistakes and have our skeletons brother. Good on you for acknowledging it with awareness. Just focus on doing the right thing from this point forward and learn from it. Hope everything works out for you and your family.

..today i am sitting alone on a plane headed home and i have no clue what to do when i get there. Putting my wife and kids on a different plane this morning was the most surreal and bitter experience of my life...

That's a tight timeline to get two international flights.

You seriously deserve every second of pain you have for the rest of your life.

Not only did you betray your wife….you did it with one of her good friends.

Sincerely frick you dude and I hope your soon to be ex wife takes your pathetic cheating arse to the cleaners in the divorce. Your whole post isn’t even about wanting prayers for your family. It’s so you can feel better about being the POS you are. And hopefully get some “aww shucks man you are just a man who makes mistake, it’s ok you fricked up” posts.

The upside….living in a van is kinda acceptable now in society so you got that going for ya.

Your post would only apply in this situation if I have also cheated on a SO before. Which I have not. I was the one cheated on in my failed marriage.

We are being massively trolled by the OP so at this point it is silly to continue arguing over a made up story

If you cheat on your wife (bad) with a friend of hers (worse) you have to confess.

There is NO scenario where the friend takes it to the grave. And even after a decade when the wife finds out the she will obsess with “You should have told me!! Why did I have to find out from someone else!!!”

A therapist friend says often about difficult times, "it's gonna get worse before it gets better"...One step at a time, one day at a time, one problem at a time...trust is a difficult thing to earn and even more so to gain it back once lost. Breathe, focus on the problem today and my prayers are with you. Micah 6:8...you'll get there.

done something not nearly as bad recently, and I destroyed a girl's heart. I got on a dating site after my then GF blew up on me and blocked me for a misunderstanding. I got mad and tried to find someone else real quick on a dating site. I didn't find anyone, and then me and the gf reconciled real quick. Things were going great, but then her friend sent a screen shot of me having a dating profile. She broke up with me and won't have anything to do with me now. I admitted my mistake, begged for her to come back, gave my 100 percent trying to win her back. Had no luck and she moved on. I've been crushed for a few weeks and can't get over it. I lost what I thought could be my future wife.

Prayers for your family. You need to change your life before it is to late. I won't say what I am thinking.

It is my earnest and only desire for this to be the first step in doing so.
