I went to Redemptorist and we used to go to Metro Bowl for PE class and then just come back to school when PE was over.

I can remember the lock in parties there with the lasers and the glow sticks. Night bowling was the shite

I bowled there for a summer about ten years ago. My only issue with going there, was I had to pass the other two bowling alleys on my way. Why are they ALL on Airline Hwy!??!!

Because that WAS the main thoroughfare before the interstates came through.

Circle Bowl and is still doing that. Also, Malco in Gonzales is doing a night bowl thing.

Subtle “I went to Redemptorist and took PE” brag noted, m’lady.

I’m surprised Redemptorist let them off campus and didn’t lock down every day

Heh. We also ran around the neighborhood it is in when we were doing running in PE...

I'm not even old. It was bad then

Every time we left the comforts of south BR for a Parkview/Redemptorist game at the Rock we never knew if we’d be coming home that night.

I liked Circle Bowl.

Randomly stumbled across this gem when searching for metro bowl pictures.

Man, RHS games were the best though. I switched to Central High (where I graduated from) and there was no comparison. It helps that I was at RHS the year we won state.

And it could happen to any other school. Given the right conditions.
